At Blossom Themes, we prioritize your privacy.
Our plugins, which are installed and hosted on your WordPress site, we don’t gather or keep any data from your Instagram account as described in the Facebook Platform Terms (Platform Terms 3(e)).
On your WordPress site, only the data you request is stored in the plugin settings, and it is stored only for the time period you use the plugin. You can permanently and instantly delete all Platform Data at any time by removing the data in plugin settings and through additional methods, including uninstalling the plugin at any time. We do not collect any data from the visitors to your website or send any Platform Data to us or any third party at any time.
Types of Data Processed
When you use our plugin to connect to Instagram, the following data is returned from their platform and processed by the plugin:
- The name and profile picture of your account.
- An access token for your Instagram account.
- Content from your Instagram profile that you choose to connect in the plugin, such as photos, videos, and other similar content.
Purpose of Processed Data
The data processed is used to:
- Personalize the plugin with your name and picture.
- Connect to Instagram to fetch content using the access token.
- Show your feed and make the plugin work properly.
Permission Model: Grant of Least Access
The plugin is “read-only” meaning it can’t post or modify data on your Instagram account. It just displays your content. It doesn’t let you interact with content like liking or commenting.
Deleting Data
You can erase all Platform Data at any time by removing the data stored in settings field or by uninstalling the plugin.
Third Party APIs
Our plugin uses third-party APIs such as those from Instagram. Any data retrieved using these APIs is strictly restricted to the site on which our plugins are installed. This data is stored in the database that is used by the site where the plugin is installed.
The Instagram APIs, which are used by our plugins, may collect usage data. You can visit the Data Policy pages for more information about how these APIs may collect or use your data:
Cookies
Cookies help connect your browser to your Instagram during account authorization. They’re saved on your computer, not on the computers of your site’s visitors.
Policy Updates
We might update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be reflected here. By continuing to use the plugin after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
